I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving week with delicious food and gave thanks with loved ones. We have a lot to be thankful for as Americans and especially as Texans— including the many sacrifices made by our men and women in law enforcement.
If you have not seen it already, I wrote an editorial that ran on Thanksgiving Day in the Dallas Morning News about our incredible police officers. This is an issue that weighs heavy on my heart. You can read it here.
Those who serve in law enforcement put their lives on the line for us every single day and deserve our support. They are our last line of defense between law and order and lawlessness. I feel incredibly thankful for the 80,000 Texans who took the oath to protect and serve.
I remain committed to supporting legislation that will make it safer for law enforcement to uphold their duty to protect Texans. Can I count on your support of $5-10-25 or more to help me keep fighting?
May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
Sincerely,
Dan Patrick
Lieutenant Governor of Texas
