I’m guessing you may not be a regular viewer of Fox News.

So you might have missed what Trumpist Congressman Jim Jordan said on Friday’s episode of the network’s daily morning “news” show, Fox & Friends:

“Let’s hope Senator Sinema and Senator Manchin hold firm” against “this crazy piece of legislation.”

The “crazy” bill he’s talking about is President Biden’s Build Back Better plan — which would do more to level the playing field for everyday Americans than any legislation since the New Deal era.

Jordan is one of the most extremist Republicans in Congress.

• He co-founded the so-called Freedom Caucus, which thinks the Republican Party is not far enough to the right.

• In 2018, he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that Donald Trump has never said anything “he needs to apologize for.”

• He was on Trump’s defense team during the disgraced president’s first impeachment trial.

• He supported Trump’s Big Lie leading up to the January 6 insurrection.

• On January 7, he voted to overturn the 2020 election.

• And on January 11, Trump awarded Jordan the Presidential Medal of Freedom — our nation’s highest civilian honor — which Trump also, infamously, awarded to Rush Limbaugh during the 2020 State of the Union Address.

So ... that’s who thinks Manchin and Sinema are doing a good job.
