ANSWER chapters have been mobilizing, educating and organizing in cities and towns throughout the United States connecting the flight for social justice at home to war and occupation abroad. ANSWER is a one-of-a-kind organization that plays an indispensable role to mobilize people across the country to challenge imperialist aggression. That's why this Giving Tuesday we ask for your support in continuing to build this movement!

Just over a week ago, ANSWER mobilized from coast to coast with the #NoMore movement to demand “U.S. Hands off Ethiopia and Eritrea”. Joining thousands from the Horn of Africa diasporic communities to oppose U.S.-backed regime change efforts in Ethiopia and U.S. sanctions against Eritrea.

Those actions came on the heels of demonstrations held in cities in every region of the country on Nov. 15 to demand an end to the U.S. blockade of Cuba and in opposition to the latest round of CIA plots against the island. In July 2021, ANSWER joined with other organizations and prominent individuals to run a full-page ad in the New York Times under the headline LET CUBA LIVE!

In May, ANSWER organized and joined with tens of thousands in cities big and small in solidarity with widespread protests across all of historic Palestine condemning Israeli military aggression. Throughout its history, ANSWER has been a consistent voice of opposition to U.S. support for Israeli apartheid and the occupation of Palestine. 

In March, ANSWER chapters mobilized across the country to demand an end to anti-Asian violence in the midst of the horrific racist and misogynist massacre that took place in Atlanta on March 16.

Earlier this year, ANSWER held rapid response actions condemning the Biden Administrations illegal bombing of Syria on February 25.

ANSWER will continue to organize anti-imperialist protests and educational campaigns in the new year against all of the criminal military actions and sanctions policies of the U.S. government.
