I have asked the DOJ to prosecute Dr. Anthony Fauci for lying to Congress.
Dr. Fauci is an unelected technocrat who has been in the federal government since 1968. During the pandemic he has distorted science and the facts to exercise authoritarian control over millions of Americans- and to cover-up his serious misconduct at the heart of the COVID-19 crisis.
Dr. Fauci lied to Congress.
He lied about his secret “gain-of-function” research in Wuhan, China.
First- you need to know that “gain-of-function” research is a term the government uses to describe risky lab experiments that make viruses more contagious and virulent to study them better.
Fauci has claimed the federal government and his NIH did not fund “gain-of-function” research in Wuhan, China. But new evidence shows this is a lie.
And yeah - spending millions of taxpayer dollars to make viruses more harmful and deadly in China sounds like a really bad idea. That’s why Dr. Fauci doesn’t want us all to know the truth…
I had to act.
I’ve called for the DOJ to investigate and prosecute Fauci.
Here are the facts:
(1) On May 11, Dr. Fauci testified before a Senate Committee that quote: “the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

However, in October, NIH wrote they funded an experiment at the Wuhan lab to test if “spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.” That’s gain of function research.
(3) Fauci’s statement and the NIH’s October 20 letter cannot both be true. The statements are directly contradictory.
(4) 18 USC 1001 makes it felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison, to lie to Congress.
No amount of ad hominem insults or parroting of Democrat talking points will get Fauci out of this contradiction.
Dr. Fauci lied to Congress.

Fauci either needs to address the substance—in detail, with specific factual corroboration to explain why his seemingly false statements were truthful—or DOJ should prosecute him for making false statements to Congress.
Now the Democrats and their media allies are attacking me. And on Sunday, Fauci gave a bizarre
interview in which he claimed that my calls for an investigation were somehow part of a conspiracy to distract attention from President Trump!
