Hi, John –– it’s Jamie from Text Troop! I just want to take a moment to let y'all know how thankful I am to have the best volunteer group out there. I’ve truly been in awe of the dedication and passion I’ve seen in this community, especially when it came to our vaccine texting ([link removed]) .

When we first started our vaccine programs, we weren’t sure how many folks would want to jump in and text. This was something completely different from anything we had done before, but seeing how you all immediately took to these programs––getting adults and children registered for their appointments, answering questions, combating misinformation, and navigating some pretty tricky conversations––impressed us beyond words.

While states like Texas and Florida were trying to ban mask mandates and school board meetings were becoming battlegrounds, we were scheduling over 3000 people for their vaccination appointments and maximizing our impact with a tripler ask. I’m incredibly proud of that accomplishment and so grateful to you all for being able to make it happen.

Our Let’s Protect texting was only possible because you texted and you donated. As the winter comes and new variants threaten our progress, I'm asking you to chip in whatever you can today, so we can continue to have important outreach efforts for vaccination and more. Can you chip in today, John?
