It was such an honor to work with Stacey, and see her do her magic throughout the trial. She became a national star in her own right as she effectively made the case against Donald Trump for inciting the insurrection, and I have to say — it’s been an even greater honor to watch all the things Stacey has done since we worked together on the trial.
As a member of the powerful Ways & Means Committee, Stacey has played a critical role in passing legislation that put money directly in the hands of working moms and working families through the Child Tax Credit, and she played a tremendous role in passing the historic Build Back Better legislation through Committee and now onto the Senate.
