Mitch McConnell and the special interest donors behind him are furious that we are moving forward with President Biden's ambitious Build Back Better agenda.

BBB will help lower the costs of healthcare, senior care, prescription drugs and child care while giving working families with kids a big tax cut. And it's PAID FOR with a tax surcharge on those making over $10 million a year and by closing loopholes that reward corporations that move American jobs overseas.

Earlier this week, Maryland's Republican Governor called the Build Back Better Act "nothing but a reckless grab bag of massive tax hikes... and handouts to special interests." He's the person McConnell is trying to recruit to run against me in order to turn this Maryland Senate seat RED and put Mitch back in charge in the U.S. Senate!

It's always shocking how many Republicans are ready to call investments in our future and programs for the American people, "handouts to special interests". They just don't understand the difference between a 'special interest' and the 'public interest'. Go figure.
