Support Indigenous-led Solutions on #GivingTuesday!

Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving which is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It’s a global movement that encourages charitable giving, celebrates generosity, and brings people together! More than 34.8 million people participated in GivingTuesday 2020 giving close to $27 million.

Join the thousands of charities, families, businesses, community centers, and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give to the causes that matter most to us.

This year, as in years past, Cultural Survival invites you to join us in celebrating #GivingTuesday with six ideas on how to make a difference.

1. Make a donation for #GivingTuesday! Support Our New Vision!

At Cultural Survival, our staff and board have come together to agree and manifest what we believe are the core values of our organization, both internally as members of a team, and externally among our wider kin, partners, donors, and members, partner organizations, and stakeholders. Developing this list of values and principles has been a multi-stage process inclusive of Cultural Survival’s full staff, leadership, and board of directors over a period of months.

Join Cultural Survival and our partners as we work to fulfill the rights of Indigenous Peoples around the world, through a four-pronged strategy using Grantmaking, Capacity Building, Advocacy, and CommunicationsThis holiday season, make a donation to Cultural Survival.

3. Support Indigenous Artists by Shopping Indigenous the Cultural Survival Bazaar Artist Directory!

4. Looking for a meaningful holiday gift? Give the gift of the Cultural Survival Quarterly!

5.  Start a #GivingTuesday Fundraiser for Cultural Survival on Facebook.

On #GivingTuesday, November 30, 2021, Facebook will match a total of $8 million in donations first come, first serve starting at 8am ET until funds run out. Create your personal Facebook fundraiser here so we can also receive those matched funds! Elevating our work on social media increases our visibility, which expands our reach and community. Your contribution makes a big impact, whether you donate $5 or $500, every dollar helps.

6. Like Cultural Survival and spread the word on social media.

Please like and follow Cultural Survival's FacebookInstagram, and Twitter pages and invite 5 friends to also follow us on social media! Encourage your friends and family to get involved by making a donation, which in turn amplifies Indigenous voices and solutions around the globe. Every like, dollar, and increased visibility helps us to continue to provide essential support to Indigenous Peoples! Thank you!
