And while Democrats lost ground statewide, we especially suffered in rural areas where Republican turnout surged to record levels.
The Six PAC supports rural progressives because to win big statewide races, we need to run competitively everywhere. We need to narrow the margins in rural, red turf.
A prominent Democratic pollster told Politico, “Most donors — big and small — are not enamored with or interested in rural voters. They’re easy to demonize and write off.”
