Hi John,
We've got one last FREE event happening this year, and it's one we really want you to check out, and bring some friends too.
WHAT:
See Yourself Running: Election Officials
A (free!) panel with RFS alums about the offices that oversee our elections and protect our freedom to vote.
WHO:
RFS alums Brianna Lennon, Gabriella Caz?res-Kelly, George Stern, Meredith Place, and Katharine Clark (who are all responsible for running elections), as well as you and your friends!
WHEN:
Monday, December 6th at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT
WHY:
Republicans are working overtime to make voting harder. Election administration officials can safeguard our elections -- many of whom are elected at the county, city, or town level. In 2022 there are over 3,000 of these positions on the ballot. Come learn how YOU can ensure that elections in your area are accessible, fair, and equitable.
WHERE:
Zoom
These offices are really important -- we truly hope you think about running for one next year!
Run for Something
P.S Know someone you think should run for one of the 3,000 election administration seats we're recruiting for? Forward this to them.
Run for Something is a grassroots-powered organization that recruits and empowers young progressives running for local office, with the goal of winning permanent power for decades to come. We've elected 500 diverse, young progressives to power by relying on support from grassroots donors pitching in a little to create big change. Please chip in now to help our candidates continue running and winning.
