In my role at Human Coalition, I get to hear many of the stories of the women and families who are reached, rescued, and restored because of your partnership.

Many of the moms who come to Human Coalition were facing difficult circumstances before finding out about their pregnancy. Whether it’s homelessness, domestic violence, financial issues, unemployment, lack of a support system, depression, or a combination of many challenges, they were already in a difficult place.

In fact, 76% of the women served by Human Coalition say they would “prefer to parent” if their circumstances were better.

And John, that’s exactly why your support is so important.

By supporting the National Rescue System, you reach moms who are in desperate need of help and hope. You show them that they have options other than abortion. And you empower them to confidently choose life.

One recent story that demonstrates the impact of your support is “Tabitha.”

When Tabitha found out she was pregnant, she was struggling to meet her most basic needs. She was homeless and living with family and friends. She had lost her job due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And even worse, she did not have a strong relationship with the father of the baby.

As much as she wanted to keep the child, she decided she had no other choice but to get an abortion.

Tabitha went online to schedule an abortion and found the phone number to Human Coalition. When she called, a compassionate call agent answered the phone and scheduled an appointment for her at a nearby Women’s Care Clinic.

When she arrived for her appointment, Tabitha was still set on having an abortion. However, over the course of the appointment, the nurse talked to her about all the resources available through the Continuum of Care program. She told Tabitha that there was a team of people who cared about her and would help her find housing, meet material needs, and provide her with anything she needed for her baby.

Tabitha began to realize that with the right help and support, she could overcome the challenges in her life. And she could make the decision she wanted to make from the beginning – the decision to choose life.

Throughout this process, the Continuum of Care team helped Tabitha with the challenges she was facing . A few months later, she gave birth to her baby girl, “Kinsley.” And today, Tabitha could not imagine life without her baby girl.

Stories like Tabitha’s are just one example of the impact you have on women and families every single day. Now, you have the chance to serve even more moms.

Over the last decade, partners like you have helped build a National Rescue System that reaches some of the most abortion-dense communities around the country. The Human Coalition team is now boldly seeking to share the knowledge and insight we have gained with other life-affirming pregnancy resource centers. And it’s all so that more moms like Tabitha can be reached, more children like Kinsley can be rescued, and more families can be restored.

That’s why Human Coalition is launching a new component to the National Rescue System – an online training platform and community specifically designed for local pregnancy resource centers. By leveraging unique opportunities to connect and collaborate across the pro-life movement, the National Rescue System can grow even faster. And that means more moms can be reached before the abortion industry gets to them.

In honor of #GivingTuesday, a generous family of donors has committed a $25,000 Matching Grant to help launch the training platform and community and serve more moms in need of help and hope.
