Next year is going to be critical for the environment which is why we are getting ready now.
We are preparing for a legislative session that will have a huge impact on our future. We need to help the environmental champions we worked to elect pass equitable, environmental policies when legislative session begins in January and then work to defend these champions and elect more champions in the fall.
This year we launched our new Strategic Framework that centers our work in environmental justice and supporting communities across the state. This new framework alongside our Evergreen Future platform will help us push our elected leaders to act on climate, protect clean water and healthy forests, ensure environmental justice and public health, and hold corporate polluters accountable.
That is exactly what we are going to do in just a few short weeks.
We have made immense progress over the last few years, but we must keep up the momentum to prioritize public health for the most impacted communities, protects local workers, and invest in solutions to address climate change, clean up toxic pollution, and restore our forests and shared waters.
