Hey John, in this email, I’m going to ask you for a $3 donation. But first, let me explain why:

CONTRIBUTE $3 » [link removed]
At the height of the Great Depression, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was given a mandate by the American people to make changes that last to this day:

Social Security.
Minimum Wage.
Forty hour work week.

The past year has accurately been described as the worst tragedy since the Depression. But last November, the American people gave us a mandate.

Democratic House.
Democratic Senate.
Democratic White House.
In the midst of a national emergency.

We have the makings of a real FDR moment, and if we waste it, we should be ashamed.

We can create a country that works for all of us, not just those at the top.

But this change won’t happen just because we have this power -- we have to fight the status quo every step of the way.

Now’s the part where I ask for your help, John. Will you give $3 right now to help fund this people-powered movement?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

I am working every day to make the most of this mandate, and I hope to continue fighting for years to come.

But my team just told me that we are running $2,098 short of our November goal.

These goals aren’t arbitrary -- the money we raise goes to paying for the tools and organizers we need to win this fight -- so coming up short isn’t an option.

Now’s the part where I ask for your help, John. Please John, before midnight tonight, give $3 or whatever you can spare to help me meet this moment »

Your support means the world to me,

Ritchie
