I hate coming to you like this, but I have nowhere else to turn, friend.

Since I announced my Senate campaign, I've been overwhelmed with support from members of this grassroots team. That's why we set an ambitious goal to fundraise $200,000 by my End of Month Deadline.

But with hours left to go, my finance team says we're missing that target, and I'm not sure we can close the gap. 

Florida Senate races often come down to the margin of error – just 0.12 percentage points in 2018 – and every dollar we raise could be the difference between winning and losing a better voice in the U.S. Senate. 

I know this race won't be easy – but I'm not afraid of the challenge. I'm disappointed in Marco Rubio's lack of leadership for this state and country – for his inability to stand up for what's right.

It's time for a change. He refused to vote for critical COVID relief. He refused to vote for protecting voting rights and election security. It doesn't make sense for Florida, so I've come to this conclusion: Marco Rubio will choose party over state – over country – every time. 

I can't win without hitting fundraising goals like this. And I can't hit fundraising goals like this without you, friend.
