Isn’t it about time we had a woman physician advocating for reproductive justice in the U.S. Senate?
As a radiologist, a mother of 6, and a woman, I know that the future of reproductive freedom will be determined by the work we do right now to protect it.
With extreme laws banning all abortion-related care cropping up across the country — and the future of Roe v. Wade resting in the hands of a conservative-leaning Supreme Court — we need leaders at the state and federal level who understand that women’s rights and reproductive freedom are non-negotiable.
If we leave Ron Johnson at the helm, the Texas law banning and criminalizing abortion-related care after six weeks could easily become our new reality. We can’t let it happen, team
