I'm proud of the work we are doing with President Biden to enact the Build Back Better agenda — a package that includes new measures to address the financial squeeze being felt by many American families. It will cut the costs of everything from health care to prescription drugs to child care and in-home care for seniors. It also includes historic investments to tackle the climate crisis. It's a BIG deal.

But not everyone agrees.

Mitch McConnell and the big money special interests behind him are incensed that big multinational corporations who park their profits in overseas tax havens and the very wealthy who make over $10 million per year will pay higher taxes as part of this package.

That's why Mitch and his Super PAC friends are actively recruiting Maryland's Republican Governor to run against me — someone who called the Build Back Better package "far-left" and a "reckless grab bag of giveaways."
