We know it’s still the holiday weekend, so we promise we’ll keep this real quick.
You may have seen Ed’s note from last week about our 1,500 grassroots donation goal we’ve set for ourselves ahead of Tuesday’s end-of-month fundraising deadline.
The good news is that so far, hundreds of people from across the country have chipped in to help us get there.
The bad news is that we’re still pacing behind where we need to be by Tuesday’s deadline, and need a few big days here to catch up. So we’re asking directly:
We can assure you: These goals we set are not arbitrary numbers we pick out of a hat.
They’re figures we have to meet in order to continue our organizing and political operations, keep growing our movement nationwide and continue the fight for our progressive agenda.
And right now, we’re still a bit short of hitting the mark for November. So thank you in advance for adding yours today if you can.
It means a lot to Ed and to our whole team to be with you in the fight.
