John,

On December 1 the Supreme Court will hear a case from Mississippi that many are concerned could be used to overturn Roe v. Wade . This comes just months after the justices allowed Texas’s appalling ban on abortions to go into effect -- a decision they are now revisiting. Across the country, women's rights and women's health care are under attack.

Let me be clear: These attacks on Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose are unacceptable. Over two thirds of Americans do not believe that Roe v. Wade should be overturned. Congress must codify Roe and make it the law of the land so that women are able to make their own health decisions no matter where they live and no matter what politicians say.

I was proud to join the women who rallied in Minnesota last month and I am committed to fighting for women's health.

If you agree that Congress should codify Roe v. Wade into law, please consider making a donation today to help me keep working for you in the Senate.
