It’s clear that 2022 will be a make-or-break year for the future of our democracy. Fueled by a cult-like devotion to Trump’s “Big Lie” about the 2020 election, far-right extremists have made no secret of their plans to recapture control of Congress in 2022 and try to reverse the progressive gains of the Biden administration
At the same time, so many of our rights are already under attack from far-right state legislatures across the country, and a Supreme Court tilted 6-3 in favor of ultra-conservatives: the right to vote in free and fair elections without obstruction, the right that affirms the reproductive freedom of millions across the country, the right of workers to organize and earn a living wage, LGBTQ+ equality, the basic human rights of immigrants and refugees seeking asylum from prosecution and a shot at the American dream – the list goes on.
All of these rights are at stake next year.
But People For, and members like you, have been tireless in the effort to fight back against the extreme agenda of the Far Right.
People For is leading the way in their efforts to empower progressives across the country and defeat far-right Republicans up and down the ballot, but they can only do this necessary work with the support of members like you.
