Three days from now on December 1 will be a pivotal moment for abortion access.
The Supreme Court is set to begin to hear arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization — a challenge to a Mississippi law that bans almost all abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy.
On the exact day these hearings begin, we are planning to demonstrate our solidarity and resistance by physically encircling the Supreme Court of the United States. Together, we will visually and symbolically show that we are holding the line for abortion justice. We’re asking participants to wear green to symbolize our pro-abortion movement, and to help spread the word about this action before Wednesday's big day.
Our action will convene directly in front of Union Station. We'll begin with a short speaking program to welcome and train every activist in attendance, then we'll begin our march to the Supreme Court, where we'll literally encircle the building to show that women and allies are watching!
Route and location of our protest.
It’s critical we join forces to rise up to the urgency of this moment and show the strength of our movement at the Supreme Court on December 1. There has never been a more crucial time for women and our allies to show up in support of our health care, our rights, and our freedoms, so please let us know if you plan to join this effort.
In solidarity,
Women's March
P.S. We're hoping as many people as possible show up on December 1 to physically encircle the Supreme Court and hold the line for abortion justice. If you're able to join us in-person in D.C., visit our info page to read about how you can RSVP to be a part of this crucial action.
