We’ve got some good news and some bad news to share with you today.

First, the good news: We’re focused on building the sort of grassroots movement that it’s going to take to elect Cheri Beasley and flip this Senate seat. That includes donations from all 100 counties over 110 campaign stops all across the state, and the endorsement of thousands of people just like you.

But, some bad news: Mitch McConnell and his dark money allies have noticed our campaign’s strength, and they are not going to go down without a fight. Ted Budd’s billionaire backers at the Club for Growth super PAC are ALREADY on the air with $3 million in ads in North Carolina and have promised to spend millions more.

Plus, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans have over $29 MILLION on hand to spend in races like ours, so there’s no doubt they plan to spend millions attacking Cheri before next November.

It’s a big challenge to overcome, but together we can prove that people-power is far stronger than any dark money.
