Help ring in the season of giving by supporting your favorite transparency nonprofit!

We're thankful for all those supporting and working for a more accountable democracy. Help ring in the season of giving by supporting your favorite transparency nonprofit!
Dear Friend of OpenSecrets,

I am writing to let you know that OpenSecrets will be participating in Giving Tuesday this year. Kick off the giving season by supporting our independent, nonprofit research team and investigative newsroom!

Despite the pandemic, Giving Tuesday continues to grow in popularity, with millions of people participating annually. I know that there are so many charities deserving of your support this time of year. I only ask that, between now and Tuesday, you think about the impact our organization has had as you consider your 2021 giving plan.

This year, we have a goal to raise $10,000 by the end of Giving Tuesday to support the construction of our new website, complete with all the tools and resources you’ve come to expect from our peerless data. With your help, we can build new visualizations, data sets, graphs and charts to better investigate and communicate the ramifications of money in politics.

That’s why today through Giving Tuesday, I invite you to help us build the transparency data tools needed to enrich the public discourse and reveal hidden donors attempting to influence our government.

Get a headstart on Giving Tuesday. Support OpenSecrets! ([link removed])
Sincerely,

Sheila Krumholz
Executive Director
