If the stakes in this election weren’t clear before, this month’s special redistricting session has thrown them into sharp relief.

This month, Georgia’s GOP leaders ignored our input and decided that everyday Georgians don’t deserve fair representation. They passed grossly gerrymandered congressional maps that take power out of our hands, allowing themselves free reign to continue a decades’ long record of harmful policies that hurt Georgia workers and families.

That’s why I stood in front of our state legislature and told them that enough is enough — that we’re done letting a vocal minority shout down the needs and interests of the majority of Georgians.

And that’s why, as your next Lieutenant Governor, I’ll make sure that every Georgian can make their voice heard when it matters most.

Next year’s election is our chance to prove, once and for all, that Georgians won’t stand for unfair, unjust, and unrepresentative government any longer. But, if we’re going to win this race, we need to start putting in the work right now.
