This is a very proud moment for me, friend!
Two months ago, the people of Mississauga—Streetsville elected me to be their voice in Parliament and to help keep Canada moving forward. As the first Filipina Canadian woman to sit in the House of Commons, I am feeling grateful to have this opportunity to be a voice and advocate for so many people across the country.
This week’s Speech from the Throne laid out the crucial work that lies ahead for our Liberal team in government. I feel a great responsibility to represent my community, and to deliver on the important priorities that Canadians in communities across the country are counting on.
Commitments like finishing the fight against COVID-19 so we can all get back to doing the things we love, making $10-a-day child care a reality for Canadian families, accelerating our fight against climate change, and so much more.
None of this work is possible without your leadership.
As we approach this crucial end-of-month fundraising deadline, I hope Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team can count on your support to share our message from coast to coast to coast and to keep up our hard work!
If you’re able, chip in now to support Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team, so that we can keep Canada moving forward for everyone.
