Yesterday, we shared with you the launch of our end-of-month fundraising goal to raise an additional $20,000 from emails just like this to help fund our campaign plans and outreach efforts.
In just a moment, I am going to walk you through why it's so critical that we not only hit our goal this month, but why your donations are the lifeline of this campaign. Here's the truth: these next few months will be a crucial time for our campaign. 2022 is a critical midterm year. Voter outreach — early and often — will be key to our success, and to keeping Jamaal in Congress.
It's going to take a lot of work, both internally and externally, to reach out to as many potential supporters as possible and encourage them to join our progressive movement — and doing this work isn't cheap.
It's going to take dedicated investments into our digital program in order to build the network and resources we need to expand our outreach and Jamaal's vision, further than ever before. We need to continue seizing every opportunity for people to join us on our mission to reimagine systems and transform policy. We can't afford to cut corners on our plans or lowball our efforts.
Reaching our fundraising goals is the strongest way to ensure that our movement continues to grow and our momentum can keep pace with our plans — but we can't do this alone.
