Voice of Courage Award: Mana Kharrazi

For her leadership and organizing of Iranian Alliances Across Borders (IAAB) and her boldness in standing up as a lead plaintiff against the Muslim Ban in the case of IAAB v. Trump.

 

Community Champion Award: The Islamic Center of Culpeper, Virginia

For their steadfast determination and resilience in securing the right to worship in their own community. After winning a lengthy battle over a zoning permit, the ICC just broke ground on their new mosque.

 

We’ll hear directly from Mana, from the ICC and from our featured speaker, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler.
