There will likely be a fundraising blackout in December, which means we have to raise as much as we can right now to keep New Mexico blue.

I won't lie, this is alarming. If we fail to reach our goals in the next few weeks, we'll start off 2022 behind my Republican challengers, and it will be an uphill battle to stop the GOP from pushing our state further right than ever before.

As Governor of New Mexico, I've slashed taxes for working families, raised the minimum wage, legalized cannabis to end the war on drugs, and so much more. But if the GOP flips New Mexico red, they will erase all of our progress and pass dangerous, far-right policies.

Right next door in Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott signed a near-total ban on abortion. State governments are the first line of defense against extremist policies like these, which is why it's so important to keep New Mexico blue to defend our personal freedoms.
