I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Michael and I had a delicious dinner with the girls and some time to reflect on his achievements this year and his service to come.

Michael’s dedication to Colorado, strengthening our nation’s democracy, and setting the next generation up for success is clear. I can see that the promise of Colorado’s future guides his actions whether he’s meeting with constituents here in Colorado or speaking on the Senate floor.

He’s focused on delivering for Coloradans, which doesn’t leave much time for fundraising and unfortunately Michael’s team says due to a holiday slowdown in fundraising they’re $12,362 short of where they need to be at this point in the year.

Grassroots donations are particularly critical to Michael’s re-election campaign. He’s made a point to turn down corporate PAC and federal lobbyist money because he puts your voice first. He believes fighting money in politics means leading by example.

By putting Coloradans first, Michael secured funding to improve Colorado’s infrastructure and create jobs in the recently passed infrastructure bill. Now he’s focused on passing the Build Back Better Act, which includes a one-year extension of the expanded Child Tax Credit that Michael spearheaded and which has already kept three million kids out of poverty this year alone. All this and more makes Michael a top target for the National GOP, so falling short on fundraising is not an option.

I can’t wait to see what Michael gets done next and, upon re-election, how he’ll build on his years of service to our state. But we can’t get there without your support before Tuesday’s deadline.
