Hey folks, I’ve only got a few minutes before kickoff, so I’ve got to make this quick.

At noon today, my Ohio State Buckeyes will take on “that team up north” in the biggest game of the year.

A campaign has more in common with football than you might think. There are odds-on favorites and there are underdogs -- but no matter what the oddsmakers say, you still have to go out there and play the game.

And when you do, anything can happen.

Look, I know we’re the underdogs in this Senate race. We’re stepping out onto the field against special interests and billionaires ready to play dirty. They’ve got virtually unlimited resources to use against us.

But I’d bet everything I have on this team. Together, I know we can overcome everything and anything the GOP throws our way -- but only if you’re with us. Let’s leave everything on the field and show them what a grassroots team can do.
