Africa & Europe
Pray for IJM’s ongoing partnerships in Uganda. As we work to strengthen the justice system to sustainably respond to cases of violence against women and children, our ability to provide future-changing support hinges on strong relationships with partners who will carry the work forward. Pray for trust and close collaborations, as well as the ability to listen well and be the partner that is needed to institutionalize better protection for women and children.
Latin America
Please join us in praying for the health of the IJM Guatemala team, its valued partners and the surrounding communities as COVID-19 continues to affect the area. Pray for the protection of all those impacted by the lasting spread of COVID-19, and for a miraculous expansion and acceptance of the vaccination program in Guatemala.
South Asia
Pray for our legal cases to make progress in court despite a major backlog in the justice system. As COVID-19 restrictions have lifted, courts have opened back up and are facing a major wave of incoming cases that have been on pause. This backlog slows down our trials, which can already take years to reach a judgment. Pray that courts would see the urgency of anti-trafficking work in order to prioritize these cases, and for broader solutions in the justice system to help cases flow effectively.
Southeast Asia
Please continue to pray for our clients coming out of forced labor slavery. Once rescued, the prosecution process can take a long time. Pray for strength and endurance for our clients and for strong collaboration with our partners to make this a speedy, safe process that allows survivors to begin their new lives of freedom quickly.
