John -- Congress should be on the precipice of passing the Freedom to Vote Act. Provisions in this bill like ending congressional partisan gerrymandering would go into effect immediately.

But, as A.G. Holder noted: “Not a single [Republican] supported debating the Freedom to Vote Act.”

It’s unacceptable, and we’re holding them to account.

Will you make a donation right now to help us pressure Congress to pass this bill and fight for fair redistricting? We’ve already invested $1 million in passing the Freedom to Vote Act.

We need to pass this bill because it would ban partisan gerrymandering of congressional maps, strengthen voting protections, and require states to adopt transparent redistricting processes.

The Freedom to Vote Act will strengthen our democracy -- and it will go into effect IMMEDIATELY. According to our analysis, the congressional maps passed in states like North Carolina and Texas would fail the law’s partisan gerrymandering test. So with the 2022 midterms around the corner, we need to pass it as soon as possible.

Can you make a donation right now to support our movement? We need to pass the Freedom to Vote Act and ensure we have a fair redistricting process.
