And needs life-saving surgery to remove tumors right away. Please give to her critical cancer treatment.

Friend, we rescued 34 pigs recently.

Their days were numbered. The “sanctuary” where they were living ran out of money and started reducing their numbers by any means necessary.

But now many of those pigs are at risk again.

Because of severe neglect and lack of medical attention, 10 pigs from that rescue have skin cancer and require immediate treatment.

We are asking you to step up for these pigs and contribute to our Cancer Fund.

You can help our rescued pigs, like Ellie Mae:

Ellie Mae originally survived an illegal slaughterhouse. Living in squalor, her friends would be yanked from the pen, shot, and butchered within earshot of poor Ellie Mae.

Then she was taken to a “sanctuary” to live, where her advanced skin cancer tumors were removed from her sides, but then years went by with no follow up. Now, her skin cancer is back and worse than ever.

Unlike most sanctuaries, we have our own Kindred Cares veterinary team on staff. But removing Ellie Mae’s lesions will take more than five hours of intensive surgery.

And we need to provide her with expensive diagnostics, follow-up treatment, monitoring, and medication...

It adds up, and it’s going to be expensivewe need your help!

I can hardly imagine the pain Ellie Mae suffered after so many people let her down. I’m so glad she’s here.

But she won’t live long without treatment for her cancer. And she’s not alone.

Cancer Fund:  We need your best gift to cover the costs to treat skin cancer for 10 pigs. Each pig will cost on $1,500 on average. And someone like Ellie Mae is going to cost at THREE TIMES that amount...

Of all the animals abused by industrial agriculture, pigs have it especially bad. They are horribly treated and abused! Sadly, skin cancer is common among light-skinned pigs.

With the help of animal-lovers like you, we’ve already invested in building a safe forever home for these 34 rescued pigs: a new barn, perimeter fencing, and shade areas to prevent more cancer.

Now we need YOUR contribution to our Cancer Fund. We can’t stand as their cancer gets worse.

Please make your donation so we can save Ellie Mae and her friends. Every dollar helps. Thank you!

Sincerely,
