Who will win in the battle of good vs. evil?

Dear
Friends,
In my newest novel, I imagined a world where children with extraordinary talents confront evil head-on…but don’t always win. Throughout my adventures as a writer, my works and the works of many of my peers have been challenged, censored, and banned—its own form of evil that threatens to win, limiting author’s ability to share their stories and imaginations with the world.
I believe in the power of the written word to educate, inspire, encourage, and enlighten readers—these words threaten evil and enable kindness and integrity to prevail. And, as you know, PEN America protects authors’ ability to share these words. That is why I support PEN America, and I’m asking you to join me. ([link removed][UNIQID])
Friends,
will you make a gift of $25, $75, or more if you can, to give authors the freedom to write?

When we join together, we’ll help create an even greater community of constant readers and authors, allowing them to express their views without hesitation or fear of being censored, tipping the scales in favor of good.
