They want the party to serve the elites and not you Friend, The day before Thanksgiving, I woke up to an all-too predictable Boston Globe hit job (The Massachusetts GOP needs a reboot). It seems that the Globe's editorial board is very disappointed in us. Good. The Globe editorial board apparently yearns for the days of Mitt Romney. I can tell you quite confidently that Massachusetts workers and taxpayers do not. The elites are disappointed with us precisely because we're in the midst of our own reboot. No longer are we the country club party serving the interests of the entitled few. The Massachusetts Republican Party has been engaged in a dramatic reconfiguration aimed at opening the party up to all. We've formed coalitions to serve veterans, law enforcement, and first-generation Americans. We've helped spearhead efforts to put important issues Beacon Hill will never address before the voters in the form of ballot questions. Republican activists most recently put enough pressure on Beacon Hill to successfully prompt the dumping of a prohibitive bureaucracy-controlled gas surtax. And, we're finally focusing on down-ballot races. We can continue to bring about change on Beacon Hill, but we need your help. Your donation today can fuel a Republican resurgence a year from now. Can I count on you to chip in? Every donation, no matter the size, matters!
