Justice Democrats

We hope you were able to take some time to be with friends and family this week, John. We just wanted to make sure you saw this message from our Executive Director, Alexandra Rojas.

We’re so grateful for everything you’ve helped us accomplish this year, and for things that we’ll do together in 2022 and beyond. But before you start your weekend, Team JD has one small request.

Fundraising tends to take a significant downturn around the holidays. Unfortunately for us, it’s right before our end-of-month fundraising deadline AND less than 90 days before early voting starts in our first 2022 primary. We really can’t afford to fall short – so do you think you could chip in $5, $10, or whatever amount you can right now to help us meet our $30,000 November end-of-month goal?

Subject: Quick Thanks

John,

I wanted to reach out before Thanksgiving and, well, say thanks. I’m grateful that we’ve had your support this year. Here’s just some of what you helped us accomplish:

Five campaign launches for progressive primary challengers. Without you, we couldn’t have had such incredible launches for Odessa Kelly, Rana Abdelhamid, Kina Collins, Jessica Cisneros, and Summer Lee. With your help, our primary campaigns have gotten off to fast fundraising starts and made national headlines.

Jessica is less than 90 days from early voting. We’ve asked folks to chip into her campaign several times, so she can build the momentum and voter contact operation right now to win, and our supporters have come through. We can win this race together.

We’ve shown our strength when corporate Democrats try to stop progressives. Justice Democrats in Congress ensured progressive priorities like climate action and universal pre-K remained in the Build Back Better Act in the House. And when centrists try to blame progressives for corporate Democrats losing elections, we stand up and counter the mainstream scapegoat narrative.

So, thank you, John.

Our momentum is growing but it will take a mountain of continued support to win our primaries and build the progressive movement. Can you chip in $3 today so we can continue our work together?
