We have a spooky deadline coming up tonight at midnight!!! Tonight is our end of the month deadline but also happens to be Halloween. Will you join us in celebrating by chipping in before this key deadline?
I was trying to think of something that would scare you but I figured I would just go with some facts:
Wall Street bonuses amounted to more than two and a half times the total earnings of all minimum wage workers, the state of Texas has over 800,000 uninsured children because of falling federal funding, and since the 1970's wages haven't kept up with worker's skyrocketing productivity. All of these statistics are just a way to show how the wealthiest in this country are thriving while working people are being left behind. I am running for Congress to fix that.
Now, these facts are pretty scary but we can do something about them. We need people in office who will fight for the people, not corporate profit. That is what I am running to do in Congress. I need your support to help me get there.
Can you chip in right now before our end of the month deadline so that we can have the strongest numbers possible?
