Republicans are moving quickly to change the rules for the midterm elections next year and the 2024 presidential election.

Folks, this blatant power grab should be concerning for everyone. When Republicans do not like the rules, they simply change them.

The midterm elections are less than a year away, and we must be ready to defend our Majority – especially in critical swing states like Ohio. Will you chip in today to protect our democracy from Republican extremism?

Last weekend, Ohio Republican Governor Mike DeWine completed the power move by signing a bill approving the newly proposed congressional map.

In 2018, Ohioans overwhelmingly passed a constitutional amendment by 75% to end racial gerrymandering – yet Republicans just ignored the will of the people by deliberately diluting the power of Black people in Ohio.

This is just one example in which the GOP is set on changing the rules to benefit themselves. But as a swing state, Ohio is critical to maintaining Democratic majorities.
