“Republicans Gain Heavy House Edge in 2022 as Gerrymandered Maps Emerge” -- NYT

This is what we were afraid of, John.
This new wave of redistricting has led to some of the worst cases of Republican gerrymandering since the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
With these distorted and disjointed district maps, House Democrats remain highly vulnerable heading into the 2022 midterms. History tells us that next year’s election was already going to be tough for Democrats. Add in redistricting and Republicans’ gerrymandered maps and there’s no doubt the GOP is positioning themselves to win at least five seats to take back the House majority.
Unlike the GOP, we don’t have to play unfair to win. If we can raise enough resources to support House Democrats, then they’ll have what it takes to beat Republicans at the ballot box.
Will you chip in a donation of $25 or more to meet our end-of-month fundraising goal so we can protect our House majority?
