It's back!
It's the long-awaited return of Christmas at Wollaton this evening where breath-taking displays of light and sound are guaranteed to get everyone into the festive spirit.
The new trail is longer this year with lots of new installations to experience.
Tickets are selling fast, especially for Christmas week, so get your booking made as soon as you can.

Sneinton Market Avenues
An alternative Christmas market that is uniquely Sneinton, with an independent spirit.
With over 40 artisan market stalls to visit, it's a great place to pick up some unusual Christmas gifts too!
There's entertainment too. On Friday night, DJ Big Sexy will be providing the tunes, while on Saturday, there'll be carols from Nottingham Operatic Society, and two sets from party band The Groovy Cats.
Foodwise, on Saturday, European Street Food Awards Winners Homeboys will be in residence. They'll be joined by Notts Posh Dogs and Vegans Way Caribbean Kitchen.

Newstead Abbey
This year's festive theme for Newstead Abbey's Storybook Christmas is The Nutcracker. Book a magical tour of the historic house, seeing rooms stunningly dressed for Christmas.
Christmas at Newstead includes as self-led walk around the festive Nutcracker-themed room sets that run through the house (untimed)
Or, the one-hour Festive House Tour is the same price but is guided to give more insight into the history of the house.
Both tickets include car parking and access to the weekend craft fair in the cloisters.

Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop
The trees have been delivered to Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop and are just waiting for you to come and choose the perfect one - don't wait too long, though as they normally sell out by mid-December.
You can also buy home-grown poinsettia, cyclamens, and chilli plants - perfect Christmas gifts.
This weekend is also the start of Woodthorpe's Christmas Weekends. With festive music, food, a Christmas market with stalls selling homemade goods and gift ideas, as well as as wreath making, face painting and lots of fun to be had!

Old Market Square and Trinity Square
As we move into December, and the temperature dips, it's definitely time for a Christmas trip into town.
Nottingham's Christmas Market has over 40 market stalls with a range of crafts and gift ideas to buy. You can see the full list at the website.
There are fun rides for the kids and you can take a trip on the giant wheel and see the city from on high.
Pop to one of the festive bars for a hot chocolate or mulled wine and you can even hire your own igloo!

This Christmas, it's not just after dark at Wollaton Hall.
Take a daytime festive tour of the Tudor kitchens and experience a time gone by.
You can then visit Santa's workshop as Santa busily prepares for Christmas. All children visiting Santa will receive a festive gift.
