Dear John, In December, we’re celebrating Jarvis Tyner’s 80th birthday. Jarvis represents the best in working-class leadership: he served as chair of the Du Bois Clubs of America and later as founding chair of the Young Workers Liberation League. In the 1972 and 1976 elections, Jarvis ran on the Communist Party ticket for Vice President with Gus Hall. We’re holding a birthday celebration for Jarvis in New York on December 4. Proceeds from the celebration will be donated to the CPUSA and the People's World. Giving Tuesday is coming up fast. Consider giving 80 bucks for 80 years in Jarvis’ honor this Tuesday.
