Dear Email, We are so thrilled to be back and wrap up our first day of the Palestine Convention! Hundreds of people from all backgrounds gathered today for the most exciting event for Palestine this year. We kicked off our main program with an electric talk by AMP’s own Executive Director, Dr. Osama Abuirshaid, along with Palestinian activists Khalid Turaani and Lamis Deek on the formulation of the Palestine National Project. We then hosted a beautiful inauguration sharing appreciation for the convention committee who organized and worked to make this event possible. The bazaar also opened today, with a stunning array of traditional Palestinian clothing, art, and other amazing memorabilia. We ended our main program with a discussion on the power of social media in the Palestine movement, spearheaded by Turkish activist Enes Yalman, and AMP’s media specialists Malak Shalabi and Zarefah Baroud. The Campus Activism Track along with the youth and school programs launched their sessions as well with in-depth discussions and presentations on the latest about Palestine.
