John,

Yesterday, in the first meeting of the Maine Ethics Commission to
investigate Speaker Sara Gideon's illegal straw donor scheme, she was
found guilty and will be fined for violations of state law.

We have been documenting Sara Gideon's swampy behavior and colleagues
for years. Multiple ethics scandals have been ignored or swept under the
rug on Sara Gideon's watch, but not anymore.

At the same time, Jared Golden apparently decided to join Chellie
Pingree and the squad, as he announced his support of the impeachment
inquiry.

Let's be clear, Jared Golden siding with the squad is a problem - we
have three great candidates competing to take him on and restore the
voices of Mainers in Congress.

**The "squad" and Nancy Pelosi don't speak for us, but that is
apparently all we get with Jared Golden.**

But while we work across the district to take that seat back for Maine
people, we also need to spread the word about Shady Sara Gideon.

Let's be clear -

**yesterday's fine and GUILTY decision by the Maine Ethics Commission
wasn't the end of Sara Gideon's troubles, it was the beginning.**

There is much more to come.

Shady Sara still must deal with her federal straw donor scheme with the
Federal Elections Commission.

Shady Sara still must try and explain what are certain to be

**absolutely extreme left-wing votes in the legislature this coming
session.**

And she still has a lot more to answer for.
