John,
 

When I was a little girl, my parents risked everything to bring our family to
America.

 

Much like our forefathers who crossed the Atlantic... they understood that
liberty isn’t cheap.

 

But no matter the price... it’s worth it.

 

This Thanksgiving I am particularly thankful for the Constitutional Republic
that our Founding Fathers created.

 

Written into the DNA of our country is the capability of WE THE PEOPLE to push
back against radical leftists like Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Kamala
Harris, and Joe Biden.

 

Without the legal system that enables us to challenge these individuals in the
courtroom, each of these out-of-control politicians would be ruthlessly
shredding our rights.

 

You’ve seen it in California. Gavin Newsom tried to shut down ALL schools in
the state – including private and religious schools.

 

Thanks to our laws, the Center for American Liberty was able to sue Newsom
over this and score a landmark ruling that Newsom’s shutdown of private schools
was unconstitutional.

 

Even though the Ninth Circuit Court ruled against him, Newsom has continued to
double down on his unconstitutional power grab—and now he is asking the Ninth
Circuit to rehear the case en banc.

 

You’ve seen it in Washington D.C. in more ways than you could possibly count.
Whether it’s Joe Biden’s blatantly unconstitutional vaccine mandate or U.S.
Capitol Police’s new policy whereby only speech sponsored by a member of
Congress may be permitted on the Capitol lawn, our constitutionally protected
freedoms are under attack.  

 

Thanks to our system of checks and balances, in each of these cases, the
courts are empowered to review overreaching government actions, and if called
for, block them.

 

You’ve even seen it in local school administrations too, like in Montgomery
County, Maryland where unelected administrators threatened to fire teachers
over a vaccine mandate that violated Title VII.

 

But even this overreach did not stand as we were able to force these
bureaucratic tyrants to allow for a religious accommodation to the COVID
vaccine requirement.

 

What I'm trying to say is that we should all be grateful for the incredible
system handed down to us by our founders.

 

That is why we work tirelessly, every day, to protect it.

 

Because without it, today we might look like Austria where citizens are being
locked down in their homes.

 

So today, I am asking you to join me in remembering gratefully the founding of
our country, and for the liberty that she so dutifully preserves.
