Dear John,
In 2022, we enter the next Chinese Year of the Tiger, which happens once every 12 years, and marks a milestone for tiger conservation.
In September 2022, Government representatives from the 13 countries where tigers are a native species will gather in Vladivostok, Russia, for the second International Tiger Conference.
By the time the conference takes place, the agenda will be set. The plans for tiger recovery programmes will already be on the table, ready to be debated and discussed. That’s why we’re working now to highlight how we can save tigers from decline and extinction.
With your help, we can push governments to take tougher action to save tigers and combat the deadly illegal wildlife trade.
Wild tigers are in peril. Will you help us protect these iconic big cats?
Tigers are still being farmed, trafficked and killed for their body parts. Seen by wildlife criminals as “walking gold”, they’re reduced to the value of their skins, bones and teeth.
Thanks to your generous support, we have been working to expose and disrupt the criminal networks behind this cruel trade.
Can you make a gift to support our work and help us protect tigers?
By making a donation today, you can help us campaign for more action to save tigers, continue our undercover investigations into the illegal wildlife trade, and help create a more sustainable future for these magnificent big cats and other endangered species.
On behalf of everyone in the EIA team, thank you.
