Hi John,

While Thanksgiving this year might still look a little different than usual, the fact that many of us will be able to safely gather with friends and family is something to celebrate as we head into the holiday season.

I am ready to return to a sense of normalcy, and we will get there together sooner rather than later if we all continue to do our part to put an end to this pandemic.

We have witnessed resilience in people across the country, and a strength of purpose in their actions. Through our democratic process, we have made historic investments for generations of Americans.

For all of these reasons, for my family, for my friends, and for you, John, I am truly thankful.

I want to wish you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
