Happy Thanksgiving, friend!

For many of us, this year’s holiday is the first time in a while that things have felt a bit more normal. Last year’s circumstances, including the growing pandemic, kept many of us away from the ones we loved, but those bittersweet moments emphasized just how important community is.

Today, I am thankful that so many of us can be back with those most important in our lives. But I am also thinking of the millions of Americans who are still not able to sit in comfort with family or friends today over Thanksgiving meals. As we take stock of all we have to be thankful for, we must consider how to give back so that others can share in what we may take for granted.

Your dedication to our shared values inspires me, and reminds me of what we're working towards: an economy that's fairer for everyone, and a political system that respects the diverse voices that make up our national fabric.

Whatever challenges we face, I know that we will continue to press forward and make a real difference in peoples' lives. For that, I am most thankful.

-Jennifer
