On this day, many families across the U.S. gather to show gratitude and mourn/remember the country's history. Whether or not you are one of them, let’s take time today to center Indigenous voices and be grateful for their ongoing defense of nature and our global climate.

Currently in Peru, our Kakataibo Indigenous partners are being threatened and killed by narco-traffickers, as they invade the rainforest to set up new coca operations. They urgently need our active solidarity as they oppose the forces that profit from Amazon destruction.

TAKE ACTION TO DEFEND INDIGENOUS EARTH DEFENDERS »

The Kakataibo are standing against colonialism, today. They need our support to help pressure the Peruvian government to resolve this dangerous situation peacefully. And beyond that, both national and international authorities must take meaningful steps to address the underlying issues, particularly Indigenous land rights.

Thank you for taking action TODAY
in solidarity with Indigenous Earth Defenders!
