Thank you, John.
In Silent Spring, author Rachel Carson wrote, "those who contemplate the beauty of the Earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts."
Her words speak to the power of gratitude for the natural world to sustain us, through good times and bad.
Decades after Silent Spring's publication, Earth's beauty - and the strength we draw from it - remains constant.
Perhaps it's no surprise, then, that EDF members have demonstrated such tireless resolve to move us, day by day and inch by inch, closer to the sustainable future we deserve.
And for that, everyone here at EDF is especially grateful today for YOU, John.
Just as we draw strength from nature's wonders, we draw strength from your advocacy and support.
Thank you for being our inspiration,
Emily Stevenson
Manager, Online Membership
