Happy Thanksgiving New Orleans!

Today's a day reserved for eating good food and reflecting on the things we are thankful for.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful for all the love and support that the residents of New Orleans have given me through all the challenges of the past year.
We battled COVID-19, and we have now gotten to the point where we can gather together once again thanks to your help by getting vaccinated. We are even looking at the return of Mardi Gras in 2022.
We responded to multiple once-in-a-lifetime hurricanes. Together our community was able to respond on a mass scale to help get resources to those that needed them most. Like I always say, thanks to the billions in infrastructure investments, we were able to avoid another Hurricane Katrina-level disaster.
These are just some of the challenges we have overcome together, but they highlight our community's strength when we fight alongside each other.
Today I'm thankful for my family, friends, and most importantly you.
