Dear friend – Happy Thanksgiving!
This year, the holidays may still look a bit different as we gather with family and friends to celebrate safely. Many of us have been vaccinated and are starting to adjust to a new normal, but for millions of Americans, this holiday season will still be difficult.
To those missing a loved one at their holiday table this year, I extend my most sincere condolences. My thoughts are with you.
Today is also a day to reflect on what gratitude really means.
I’m grateful for you.
The voters of NY-09 sent me to Congress to be a voice for every person in this community – for working class families, for children who deserve a quality education, and for seniors who deserve care and resources. Your story is my story.
Thank you for looking out for each other. A few weeks ago, I sent out a survey asking how many of my supporters have spoken to their loved ones about getting vaccinated, and the response was overwhelming. I’m so grateful that this community has so much care to give each other.
And thank you for standing by me as I fight for a more just and equitable New York. From my family to yours, I hope you have a happy, healthy, and safe Thanksgiving.
